June 28 Sooke Fishing Report
The fishing in Sooke has been somewhat hit and miss in the last few days. There are fish coming through Sooke's waters, but you have to work a bit for them...some days there is plenty of bait in the water, and others not so much.Roy at Blue Wolf Charters caught several nice Spring salmon earlier this week, topping out with a 38 pounds, plus several others 19-26 pounds. That's not such a bad day of Vancouver Island fishing!
As well, it feels a bit more like summer out there, finally, with some sun and warm weather in Sooke and Victoria. Remember your sunscreen! (and around here, that's a good problem to have).Good luck out there!
